Who are God’s declared Children?

So far, we have learned about who God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit is. If you missed that blog, you can click Here to read it. And from the latest blog, we learned about why Jesus came on earth. If you missed that blog, you can also click Here to read it. Now, let’s learn about who are God’s DECLARED children.

Keep in mind, EVERY HUMAN BEING are God’s children because God created every human being. Check Genesis 1:26-30 from the book called “Bible” for more details. While everyone are God’s children, not everyone is a “declared” child of God. According to the dictionary site, the word “declare” is to make known or state clearly, especially in explicit or formal terms. To announce officially; to proclaimed.

When someone accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that someone always have to make a declaration to God. That someone have to believe by faith the declaration that he/she makes to God. Also that someone have to get baptized in the water because that’s what the word of God command us to do. Then that someone becomes a declared child of God. Which we call a believer or a servant of God. Now let’s look at some scriptures from the book called “Bible” to support these statements.

Romans 10:9 (NIV translation) “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

John 1:12 (NIV translation) “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”

Acts 10:48 (NIV translation) “So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.”

So, if we believe in Jesus and in His word. If we confess with our mouth that we believe in Jesus. If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. If we are baptized in water just like Jesus ask of us. Then we become a DECLARED child of God. Which saves us from every dirt that this world has. And gives us freedom from sin. Everybody else who have not done all the steps mentioned above are NOT SAVED. Actually, according to the word of God, you are CONDEMNED. I suggest and urge you to get SAVED as soon as possible.

Mark 16:16 (NIV translation) “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
